Christine, together with Richard Drinkwater, was a founder of Castletown Insurance Services Limited in 1998. Christine's strong technical insurance background means that she undertakes the role of the Company's technical insurance expert, company secretary and compliance officer.

Christine is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute, having qualified in 1982, and a Chartered Insurer. She began her insurance career with Royal Insurance Group in Manchester in 1976 as Underwriting Assistant in the Commercial Insurance Department, responsible for underwriting and policy administration for property, liability, accident and motor business. In 1980 she moved to the Isle of Man and joined Bowring (Isle of Man) Limited (now Marsh), where she was responsible for a number of commercial clients.

In 1982, Christine joined Isle of Man Assurance Group, specialising in captive management with their subsidiary, Isle of Man Insurance Management Limited, of which she became Managing Director in 1988.  She was appointed to the Board of the parent Company, Isle of Man Assurance Limited in 1990.

Christine has, for many years, been actively involved with the Chartered Insurance Institute, having served on the Council and Audit Committee of the Institute in London.  Christine is also a past president of the Insurance Institute of the Isle of Man.
