John Hankinson

John joined Castletown Insurance Services Limited in October 2004 as accountant taking responsibility for a variety of clients in the United Kingdom and Eastern European markets. Included in his client portfolio are heavy industrial conglomerates within the energy, shipping and manufacturing sectors.

Trained as an Accountant at Wolesley Hall College, Oxford, John started his career in 1985 within a family run practice. In 1994 he joined Michael Simm & Co where he gained his wealth of accounting knowledge within the Isle of Man finance sector, specialising in auditing, taxation and company administration for property development companies and investment trusts.

As well as undertaking the accounting function for a number of key clients, John undertakes a supervisory role in this area and plays an active role in the Group’s liaison with the banks.
